Factual Recounts of our excursion on Sydney Harbour

Text Type: Factual recount
Audience: Year 3 and visitors
Purpose: To re-tell events in order.

On Tuesday, 19th June all of stage 2 went to an excursion to Sydney Harbour.
We felt worried because the bus that was to take us to the boat was very late.
At 9:50am we boarded the bus. Every one was so exited. We were droped at Huntley's Point near Gladesville bridge. My dad was there to farewell us. The boat called Radar was waiting for us. Half of the group sat up stairs.  On the way back we passed many fereis and also the Opera House. the Harber Bridge and saw the Endeavour on the way to Shark Island. We had lunch at Clifton Gardens. I liked Clifton Gardens because people could swim in the water.
We boarded the boat and headed back to school. We had a very good time.
